3DS LAUNCH: PES gets multiplayer mode

Konami has announced a raft of new additions for PES 2011 3D including a Street Pass wi-fi mode.

3DS owners will be able to play against each other wirelessly in multiplayer matches. They can also automatically compare Master League data with others using Nintendo 3DS’ Spot Pass technology.

The user with the stronger team will win and access new content including players and teams.

PES 2011 3D also features 60 national sides and 170 club teams, as well as a UEFA Champions League mode. AI reflects how players act in real life, while camera angles have been revamped for a better 3D experience.

Master League mode also returns – which allows players to take a small team to the top. The game features lifted through-balls, first-time strikes, quick passes and off-the-ball runs.

PES 2011 3D is scheduled for a spring 2011 release in the UK. The 3DS will launch on March 25th and is retailing for 219.99 to 229.99.
