Aussies finally get Kinect voice control

Microsoft announced that the Xbox update which will enable voice commands as well as TV App functionality is available today.

The new spread of customisable TV applications coming for Xbox in the coming months will be ABC iView, SBS ON DEMAND, YouTube, Daily Motion, Crackle, and various news and sports programs courtesy of Channel Nine.

David McLean, Director of the Consumer Channels Group at Microsoft Australia, said: "We are unique in the market and plan to stay that way.When Australians download the Xbox LIVE update, their Xbox 360 will feel completely new – it will feel like the Xbox was redesigned for a new era in entertainment."
