Bethesda promises Dawnguard DLC news for PS3 and PC "soon"

The wait for the Dawnguard DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may not be as long as some had feared.

Microsoft famously secured a 30-day window of exclusivity for all Skyrim DLC. Dawnguard – the first add-on content for Skyrim – hit Xbox Live on June 26th, meaning that many had hoped it would hit PS3 and PC on July 26th.

Fears were further increased when Bethesda’s marketing boss last week said that we have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news”, which was interpreted by some as a suggestion that it might not hit other platforms at all.

Which is obviously not the case, of course.

"I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded,” Pete Hines elaborated on Twitter. Not that news is never coming. Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon.”
