Black and Ninja Gaiden head to Xbox Originals

The Xbox 360’s Xbox Originals service, which allows gamers to download full Xbox games on their console, is set for a boost next week with the arrival of three new titles.

EA’s trigger-happy FPS Black will be joined by Tecmo’s pseudo-sequel Ninja Gaiden Black and 2K Games’ Sid Meier’s Pirates on Monday February 11th in North America. No European date has yet been set.

All three titles will cost 1200 Microsoft points – or just over 10 in real money.

Black is developed by Burnout studio Criterion – the team also behind this Friday’s next-gen release The Club. Ninja Gaiden Black is a hardcore fighting favourite, and offered a number of additions to the original version of the game.

The Xbox Originals lineup already includes Bungie’s cult classic Halo, Criterion’s Burnout 3 and Lionhead’s Fable, as well as Farenheit, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, Crimson Skies, Fusion Frenzy and Psychonauts.
