Blizzard assembling console Diablo III team

GAMESCOM: World of Warcraft and StarCraft developer Blizzard has said that it is in the process of preparing to make a console port of upcoming PC dungeon crawler Diablo III.

Eurogamer reports that lead designer Josh Mosqueira told a Gamescom audience that the studio is very, very serious about bringing the Diablo 3 experience to the console”.

Added Mosqueira: Today, we’re trying to build the best console team at Blizzard. We’re looking for programmers, designers, artists who think their dream job would be to bring Diablo to the console. Trust me, it is a dream job.

"All I can say is it’s going to be awesome. Stay tuned."

Sadly Blizzard didn’t use Gamescom as a forum with which to announce a firm release date for Diablo III on PC.
