Fez branching out to new platforms

Hit Xbox Live isometric platformer Fez is to go multi-platform this year, developer Phil Fish has revealed.

Summing up his year in game development with Polytron, the indie said he had listened to a number of fans asking for the title to be ported to other systems, although he did not reveal which platforms it would be released on.

In May Polytron announced that Fez had been downloaded more than 100,000 times on Xbox 360, averaging more than 2,000 sales a day since its release on April 13th last year.

2013 is going to be an interesting one, too. For one, Fez will finally be ported to other platforms,” said Fish.Yes, I’ve heard you, dozens of people emailing me everyday telling me how much of an idiot i am for not porting Fez to everything."
