Gears of War 2 confirmed

Epic Game has revealed Gears of War 2 for the Xbox 360 at this year’s GDC.

Cliff Bleszinski unveiled the game during Microsoft’s GDC keynote, after Tim Sweeny had demonstrated the significant improvements to the Unreal 3 engine earlier in the show.

Bleszinski claimed that Gears of War 2 will be "bigger, better and more badass" than the original.

All that was shown of the sequel was astylish, cinematic battle between protagonist Marcus Fenix and a Locust soldier.

The game is due for release this November.
