Microsoft pushes Mizuguchi, Sakaguchi, and Itagaki produced games at Tokyo event

Japanese developer exclusives touted for 360

Ahead of next week’s Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft has been showing off a number of exclusive games from leading Japanese games developers.

Tomonobu Itagaki from Team Ninja debuted Ninja Gaiden 2 at a press event last night, while Hironobu Sakaguchi from Mistwalker also appeared to reveal more details about the release of his next RPG, Lost Odyssey.

Square Enix also confirmed it is developing two new IPs for the console – Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant

Many of the other new games promoted are for Xbox Live Arcade, with the likes of Every Extend Extra Extreme and Rez (from Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Q Games), Ikaruga (Treasure), Exit (Taito), Omega Five (Hudson), and Triggerheart Exelica (Warashi) set to launch on the service in the coming months.
