Upcoming title Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has been canceled in its PSP format, according to a LucasArts representative who has spoken to IGN.

The first title in the game series, 2008’s The Force Unleashed, was a best-selling title on the PSP across the globe.

LucasArts has offered no further information on the decision to pull the title on Sony’s handheld at this time, but development is ongoing on all other platforms. The PC, DS, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and iPhone versions of the game are set to be released in Europe on October 29.
