Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes delayed in Australia and New Zealand

Gamers in Australia and New Zealand will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on Metal Gear’s next-gen debut.

NZGamer has received confirmation from Konami that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been held up by a week, meaning it won’t arrive in the region until March 27th.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Xbox One SKU is the cause, with Konami choosing tohold back the PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions so they arrive alongside it.

Also unconfirmed is whether the delay also applies to the digital version. The site notes that when fellow Konami title Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 recently suffered a similar delay, the digital version arrived as per the previous schedule.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday (March 21st) in the UK.
