Modern Warfare 2 demo finally lands

Activision has at last released a demo of smash hit FPS Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The download, which includes the entire Cliffhanger level, is now available to download for free on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

However, it’s unlikely that there are many people left who haven’t yet played the game. The game racked up worldwide sales of $550m in its first five days of release in November 2009 – an achievement Activision claimed made it the biggest entertainment launch of all time.

It has since gone on to sell in excess of 20m copies across the globe. It doesn’t stop there either, with digital sales of the title’s post-release DLC also passing the 20m sales mark.
