Need for Speed ProStreet dated

If there’s one thing that’s certain in the UK video games market it’s that come the end of the year both Need for Speed and FIFA will be riding high in the top ten – so retail will be delighted to hear that EA’s Need for Speed: ProStreet will European retail on November 1st.

Due out on 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS and PC, this latest instalment in the perpetually successful racing franchise will see gamers ‘building the ultimate battle machine’ with which they will participate in a range of racing disciplines.

The Need for Speed franchise has always been on the cutting edge of car culture,” executive producer Larry LaPierre stated. Street racing is getting more organized and Need for Speed ProStreet is our interpretation of where we anticipate the culture to be in three to five years.

We’re delivering on the ultimate proving ground, bringing you out of your neighbourhood back alleys and on to the world stage. This is a next-gen game, packed with the raw intensity and visceral aggression that defines street racing at the highest level.”
