Nintendo video service could arrive tomorrow

A press release issued in Germany seems to indicate that Nintendo’s 3DS Video download service is due to launch in Europe tomorrow (July 13th).

The content available will vary depending on the country you’re in, but UK consumers have been told to expect episodes of Shaun the Sheep as well as broadcast content from both Sky and Eurosport.

German gamers will receive an assortment of documentary content as well as Disney kid show Oscar’s Oasis

The Japanese arm of the service, which went live earlier in the year, has received almost daily content updates.

CORRECTION: As has been highlighted to MCV, the video service launched in Japan is in fact third party service SpotPass TV. Nintendo’s official 3DS video service will also go live in Japan tomorrow.
