No More Heroes censored in Europe

Rising Star Games, the publisher of upcoming Wii title No More Heroes, has confirmed that that European version of the game will see the same cuts experienced by Japanese gamers when it is released over here next year.

In North America, however, publisher Ubisoft has stated that the game will not be edited.

"We’re publishing the same version of No More Heroes that has been successfully received in Japan," Rising Star MD Martin Defries stated. "Ultimately, it’s a fantastic game to play and that’s all we care about at Rising Games."

No More Heroes is the latest outing from cult games director Goichi Suda, the man behind Gamecube and PS2 curiosity Killer 7.
