PS3 version of FFXIV complete

The process of porting otherworldly MMO Final Fantasy XIV from PC to PS3 is complete, according to a report on Andriasang.

The game has been 100% ported from the PC to PS3 and is in a moving state,” it claims. While there are some slight differences in textures, you won’t notice that much of a difference when you see the game in motion.”

It has also been confirmed that the PS3 version will run from the same servers that power the PC game.

Yesterday it was announced that Square Enix was extending its free trial of the PC version of the game as it continues to wrestle with negative consumer feedback.

Final Fantasy XIV is expected to hit PS3 in Japan around March.
