Red Dead Redemption ships 14m units, GTA franchise exceeds 220m

Take-Two has reported new milestones for Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto.

In a Shareholder Outreach document spotted byVG247, the publisher states Grand Theft Auto as a series has surpassed 220m copies sold-in.

Take-Two announced GTA V hadshipped over 52mback in May, which indicates the series has moved another 2m during the past quarter.

While not as outlandish as GTA’s figures, Red Dead Redemption continues to bring in meaningful sales numbers more than five years after release. Take Two notes the game has now shipped 14m units worldwide.
