Snake Eater 3DS likely to miss 2011

It’s looking increasingly likely that Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will miss its 2011 release and slip instead to early 2012.

VG247 has a roundup of a number of rumours suggesting this is the case.

Australian and French Konami reps have apparently confirmed the slippage, while the US office – much like the UK – has never officially confirmed a release date.

However, MCV revealed in May that Konami UK had pencilled the game in for a November 2011 release. Missing this window, and the crucial Christmas market, would be a blow to both Konami and Nintendo.
