Titanfall launch set for March

Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated mecha FPS Titanfall will launch in US and Europe next March on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

The studio announced the release window news on the game’s official site, stating that the game will land in North America on March 11th and in Europe on March 13th.

"Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall," said Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella.

"The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype."

A $249.99 Collector’s Edition has also been detailed by the developer. It packs an LED-lit diorama housing an 18-inch Titan statue that comes with a motorized cockpit, as well as a 190-page art book and a poster depicting a schematic diagram of the Atlas titan.

Pre-order deposits of $100 are being accepted for the edition, which according to Respawn will only be available in extremely limited quantities.”

Pre-orders for the standard $59.99 version are also available through various retailers, along with EA’s Origin service.
