VIDEO: How Assassin’s Creed IV compares on current and next-gen

Ubisoft has detailed the many visual additions that will feature in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Points of interest include the rain effects, which see lighting applied to each individual raindrop, and the work that has gone into animating the oceans.

Also highlighted are the environmental lighting and reflection effects, as well as the way that water and rain react to the wider environmental conditions.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released on a wide selection of platforms on November 1st and will be a launch title for both Xbox One and PS4.
