VIDEO: Witcher 2 Xbox 360 release date announced

CD Projekt has confirmed an April 17th release date for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on Xbox 360 in the US.

That would point to an April 20th release in the UK, where it will be published by Namco Bandai.

Having enjoyed great success on PC last year, this version of the RPG will see several modifications intended to ease its move onto console and joypad.

It also boats extra content including three hours of quests and three new characters, as well as additional FMV scenes and a new difficulty setting.

The game, which was released on May 2011, was a bit hit with critics, achieving an average of 88 per cent on Metacritic.
