Warner announces LOTR for PS3 Move

The Lord Of The Rings: Aragorn’s Quest will be Warner Bros’ first title to feature PlayStation Move compatibility.

Warner Bros announced the new SKU for the game in the wake of Sony’s GDC unveiling of its finalised motion controller. Aragorn’s Quest was previously only due for release on Wii, DS, PS2 and PSP.

Move will enable PS3 players to engage their enemies by physically swinging the controller around like a sword, akin to the control scheme developed for the Wii version. The new SKU also shares the Wii’s co-operative mode, in which a second player takes on the role of Gandalf.

The PS3 edition will be released alongside the others this autumn, and offers a family-friendly action adventure take on both the big screen and literary visions of The Lord Of The Rings.
