Warner elated to crack 2012 publisher Top Ten

LEGO has fired Warner Bros into the UK’s ten best-selling publishers by units.

The firm, which also publishes the hit Mortal Kombat and Batman games, has seen its position in the industry grow in recent years, thanks largely to the success of the LEGO games. There were seven LEGO titles in last year’s Top 100, and Warner has already lined-up a further three new LEGO titles this year.

In terms of volume, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment was the most improved Top 10 UK publisher, moving from No.11 in 2011 to No.7 in 2012,” said UK sales and marketing director Spencer Crossley.
