Danish games rental service branches out

The already competitive games rental sector is about to get a brand new competitor – Danish firm OnePlayS.

The company is already successful in Denmark and its owner Lasse Jensen, who was one of the co-founders of rental giant Lovefilm, is now rolling out across the whole of the EU.

Much like rival offerings, members will never face due dates, late fees or postage costs outside of the monthly subscription. Digital downloads on PC and Mac are also offered.

All modern console platforms are supported and the company’s catalogue of titles currently numbers around 1,500 titles.

Jensen said of the move: We are extremely happy that our beta-testing have been a success and therefore is it a real pleasure to offer our services to all the European gamers”.
