Dead Island app links to console title

Deep Silver has turned to the iPhone to sell a mobile tool that works in conjunction with the firm’s upcoming action horror game Dead Island.

The Dead Island app allows customers to track their progress in the retail version of the game, as well as locate collectibles and track mission objectives.

Developed in partnership with Dead Island studio Techland, the app provides a detailed map of the entire Banoi Island, which allows users to scroll around the map and zoom in on their destinations on their iPhone and iPad.
