Deep Silver reveals Dead Island MOBA spin-off ‘Epidemic’

Deep Silver has announced the latest effort in the Dead Island franchise, a free-to-play MOBA game dubbed Dead Island: Epidemic.

The multiplayer online battle arena title consists of three teams of players battling against one another while also trying to survive the ever-approaching undead hordes of the Dead Island universe.

The title will be PC-exclusive and will likely work off of some microtransaction model relating to optional upgrades.

No other release info has been provided by Deep Silver yet, but the publisher promises more info regarding the game at Gamescom later this month.
