Digital Spy breaks 20m monthly users mark as games make gains

Entertainment and technology website Digital Spy has passed the 20m monthly users mark for the first time.

20,065,530 users visited the site in January 2013 with page views hitting a total of 163,828,512m. The site has enjoyed growth of 62 per cent in the past year.

Games, tech, movies and music have been the biggest boom areas.

In the UK, the two-time Games Media Award winning Digital Spy’s entertainment traffic puts it only behind MailOnline and ahead of BBC News Entertainment, Yahoo and The Sun Showbiz.

"We are thrilled with the growing success of Digital Spy,” editor David Moynihan added. Our award-winning content and record user numbers confirm our position as the most exciting, must-read entertainment website in the UK. A huge thank you to our loyal users for making 2013 such a success already."
