Dirt Rally could be coming to boxed retail

Codemaster’s Early Access racing title Dirt Rally may be set for a physical release early next month.

The PC game, which launched into Steam’s in-development platform earlier this year, was listed by Amazon Germany.

According to the retailer, a boxed version will be released on December 8th.

Last week, Dirt Rally designer Darren Hayward posted a blog suggesting that the game was ‘days from launch’.

"You know when you’re making a game in Early Access and work is manic for six months and you put off lots of little jobs and then all of a sudden its days till launch and the final build of Dirt Rally is being made?" he wrote.

"That was this week."
