Dirt Rally skids onto PS4 and Xbox One in April

Steam Early Access title Dirt Rally is set for release on PS4 and Xbox One next April.

The game has exited Valve’s alpha stage and is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 5th.

The title debuted on Steam Early Access in April of this year. In November it was suggested that the racing game could be coming to boxed retail, with Amazon Germany listing a December 8th release date.

And just last week, the ever-leaky Taiwanese games rating board suggested that the racing title was set for console.

The launch on Steam early access has been a resounding success. We want to thank the community for their valuable feedback and support which has guided our development for the past eight months, resulting in a 92 per cent positive user score. We are now ready to launch the final version of the game on PC.” said Codemasters CEO, Frank Sagnier.

Following this success on PC and a vocal demand from consumers, we are delighted to announce that Dirt Rally will be available on consoles on April 5th 2016."
