Disney deploys first Star Wars game

Fans of Tiny Tower and the Death Star are in for a treat.

Disney has revealed its first shot at a Star Wars game having acquired the intergalactic license earlier this year.

Developed by Tiny Tower maker NimbleBit comes Tiny Death Star.

Similar to Star Wars’ fellow spin-off of the Angry Birds series, Tiny Tower has been reimagined to surround the management sim with the iconic battlestation from both A New Hope and Return of the Jedi.

Players will be encourage over 30 different species of travellers to dock in their intergalactic haven, which they can kit out with 80 kinds of Star Wars-themed items.

Tiny Death Star is available for free on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows 8.
