Double Fine dates new Kinect title

Tim Schafer’s development studio will release Happy Action Theatre for Xbox Live Arcade next month.

The newest game from the Double Fine team will be a Kinect-based mini-game collection aimed at younger gamers. It will go live on February 1st, according to Eurogamer.

"Better achieve your life’s goals asap, because come 2/1 your priorities will change," said Schafer via Twitter.

The game has been designed to help children develop their motor skills and imagination. It will be similar to the studio’s 2011 retail release Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster, which was published by Warner Bros.

Microsoft has yet to announce a price.
