Duke Nukem playable at Gadget Show

Popular gaming franchise Duke Nukem has returned at the Gadget Show Live 2011 after more than a decade away from retail shelves.

New game Duke Nukem Forever, a first-person shooter from 2K Games, is playable for the first time at the event, which opens to the trade today and is then open to the public from April 13th to 17th.

The game is already attracting visitors to the Gadget Show’s Game Zone, with players eager to sample the game on XBoxs at the show.

The sequel to Duke Nukem 3D has been in development for 14 years and has been beset with unprecedented delays.

It will be available on PC, XBox and PS3 from June 10th – assuming the game sticks to schedule, this time…
