E3 2011: Gears 3 gets LE controller

Epic’s Xbox 360 only Gears of War 3 is to get a dedicated Limited Edition Xbox 360 controller, Microsoft has revealed.

Designed jointly by Microsoft and Epic, the pad will boast Gears themed styling and will include the transforming d-pad found in recent limited editions.

Also included in the SKU will be some exclusive DLC for the game, namely five weapon skins for some of the title’s weapons. The pad will match the LE Gears of War 3 LE Xbox 360 console.

The Gears of War 3 LE pad will launch on August 11th 2011.
