E3 2011: Gunstringer heading to retail

Upcoming Kinect title The Gunstringer will now be released at retail.

The game was originally being developed by Splosion Man studio Twisted Pixel for an Xbox Live Arcade release, but it will now be a fully-fledged boxed product, reports Destructoid.

The Gunstringer is set in a Wild West-themed world occupied by puppets. Players control the protagonist by using the left hand for movement and the right hand to fire.

Twisted Pixel has claimed it will use the extra development time to polish the game and add more content.

The Gunstringer is due for release this autumn.
