E3 2012: CV leak suggests October release for GTA V

Grand Theft Auto V will be released in October, if information from a lead artist working on the game is correct.

OXM reports that a CV revealing the date was posted on Grand Theft Auto fansite GTANetwork, which was taken down completely shortly after.

The conclusion arrived at by the internet, of course, is that Rockstar stepped in in a damage limitation move.

Analysts recently pointed out that Take-Two’s financial predictions for the current fiscal year would not add-up without the release of GTA V before the end of March 2013, though a Q1 release next year was predicted.
