EA bundles 17 Command and Conquer games into one retail disc

EA is building up to the launch of its free-to-play Command and Conquer game –with a paid-for retail disc.

The Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection features some 17 different Command and Conquer titles as well as a early access to the beta for its upcoming free-to-play blockbuster, which is being powered by the publisher’s new Frostbite 2 engine.

It’s not just retail, of course. The collection will be available over the publisher’s Steam rival, Origin. All 17 games have all been updated for Windows 7 and Windows Vista and will arrive in October.
