Eidos confirms Deus Ex 3

Eidos has proudly opened that doors to its brand new Montreal studio, and confirmed that the outfit’s first title will be a third instalment to the cult Deus Ex franchise.

Eidos’ managing director Stphane D’Astous said of the title: "This game was very highly rated at its release in 2000, and we have this great huge mandate to do the third one, and everybody is very excited.”

And of the new studio, D’Astous added: The key to our success will be through talented and passionate people. A tremendous amount of work has gone into the opening of this studio.”

He also stated that the current staff count of 75 is expected to grow to 350 in time, with 100 news faces expected to join in both 2008 and 2009.
