Eidos unveils Just Cause 2

Eidos will bring the sequel to 2006’s hit Just Cause to market this year.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 2 marks the return of slick protagonist Rico Rodriquez, this time taking on a new destination – the huge playground of the South East Asian islands of Panau.

The title will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC later this year.

Remember everything you loved about Just Cause, then take it to the next level: vehicles, stunts, weapons, freedom, grappling hook, action, everything,” said Eidos brand manager Alex Price.

The game world is even more incredible in Just Cause 2 and Rico has done a bit of growing up, so expect quite a few new surprises up his sleeves.”

Disney has shipped 3.8 million units of High School Musical-themed games worldwide.
