Elite: Dangerous gets final release pack and price

Frontier Developments has announced the launch bundle for the much-anticipated Elite: Dangerous.

The Elite Dangerous Mercenary Edition for PC costs 35 for those who pre-order before the day of release – which, incidentally, has not yet been revealed beyond simply ‘2014′.

For the money buyers will get the game, an additional Eagle fighter ship docked at a secondary location somewhere in the game, a ‘day one’ ship decal, a digital guide and concept art book and a few other digital in-game goodies.

Alpha and beta players will receive the final game and the extras automatically, of course, as will anyone who has already pre-ordered the final game.

All signs point to the game coming to consoles at some stage, too, remember.
