Encore Publishing Group opens indie games brand Octopus Tree

Yet another company has moved into the indie publishing sector.

Encore Publishing Group – which has previously focused on putting out ‘print, productivity, home design entertainment and educational’ products – has opened a new indie publishing-focused division called Octopus Tree.

According to the company itself, it will be releasing three games for PC this year – Goliath, Buildanauts and Robot Arena III.

The Octopus Tree is the perfect symbol for how we approach games,” said the firm’s marketing director Tracy Magnuson.

We want to help independent games to become mighty and strong, and also to be unique and unlike anything else. We are here to help independent developers craft their games into ones that stand apart from the rest like our namesake, the Octopus Tree.”
