Endemol Games shuffles senior management, names new MD

UK production firm Endemol has made changes to the top brass of its games department.

Owain Walbyoff, former commercial director of Endemol Games has been named as the company’s new MD. His promotion follows the departure of Jurian van der Meer, who moves over to Endemol Netherlands as commercial director.

In the new role, Walbyoff will oversee the licensing and monetistion of Endemol’s own and third-party products in the games market, which include The Million Pound Drop, Deal or No Deal, Big Brother and The Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Owain has great creative and commercial talent and his experience and expertise in the gaming sphere make him the ideal person to lead Endemol Games into the next phase of growth," said Lucas Church, chief executive officer for Endemol UK.
