Asda debuts £40 Blu-ray player

Supermarket chain Asda is kicking off its drive to win the Christmas market with a discount Blu-ray player offer.

The retailer is selling the ONN DS-BD52 Blu-ray and DVD player for just 40.

The unit includes HDMI, composite and digital coaxial audio ports. It is available both in-store and online, and can be reserved for collection as your nearest branch.

More and more UK homes are now equipped to enjoy the full benefit of high-definition Blu-Ray discs,” Asda’s vision expert Wayne Steenson stated. We’re pleased to be offering Blu-Ray players at the lowest price in the market.”

To accompany the deal Asda has also discounted a number of Blu-ray films to 10 or less.
