Eichenwalde, the first new map in Overwatch, has now wended its way from the PTR to the live servers. The German castle brings a unique flavour of attack and defence to the game’s Hybrid mode, affording defenders the opportunity to rain hell from on high and attackers the opportunity to flank like never before. Its stone walls are an inspiring blend of mechanics and aesthetics; a feat which is far harder than it sounds, but one which Blizzard, more than almost any game developer out there, is equipped to deliver.
