It’s not too late to get your nominations in for the Women in Games 2017 awards, which take place in May.

There are seven categories in this year’s awards, with nominations closing on March 10th.

The New Development Talent Award recognises exceptional new talent in games development and design, and is defined as someone who has been working in games development for under three years.

The Creative Impact Award recognises talent in games development and design, and is for an individual who has been working in the games development industry for more than three years.

The other categories are Rising Star, Businesswoman of the Year, Career Mentor, eSports Contender and Outstanding Contribution.

Details about every category and nomination instructions can be found here.

Women in Games 2017 was created to recognise the plethora of female talent in the games industry via seven individual awards.

Following an extended open lobbying period and cross-platform marketing campaign, the MCV, Develop and eSports Pro editorial teams will work with a specially selected panel of distinguished industry professionals to create a shortlist and select the winners for these awards.

The event takes place on Friday 19th May at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London. All of the details can be found on the official site.
