Games Convention Online sets up camp in Leipzig

The organisers of Games Convention Online have announced the event with host the first GCO GamersCamp, offering affordable accommodation for the games trade show.

Opening on July 30th, the day before GCO, GamersCamp will provide attendees with a campsite to stay in throughout the event. The site will be on Leipzig’s Festweise, close the town centre and its 1,200 bars and restaurants, with a hotspot for Internet access.

Tickets for the campsite cover admission to the GCO and free use of Leipzig’s public transport to and from the Leipzig Messe exhibition centre. A single day ticket costs 34.50 euros, with a three-day ticket available for 81 euros. Breakfast can also be booked for a small fee.

Attendees wishing to use the GCO GamersCamp must register at www.gamesconvention.com. Games Convention Online, the spiritual successor to the Leipzig-based Games Convention of previous years, will be the world’s first trade show for browser, client and mobile games and will take place from July 31st to August 2nd.
