GREE heading to Gamescom 2012

Mobile games giant GREE will make its Gamescom debut when the games show returns in August.

GREE will showcase its latest titles as one of many new exhibitors for the show, which will once again be held in Cologne’s Koelnmesse.

"Gamescom is significant for all types of gaming, particularly the exciting possibilities brought by mobile social gaming," said GREE founder and CEO Yoshikazu Tanaka.

"Having the opportunity to engage directly with consumers, as well as business attendees, is extremely valuable for our European teams in demonstrating the GREE offering."

More Gamescom exhibitors are expected to be announced tomorrow during an international press conference, which will be streamed at http://gamescom.stream-view.de.

Gamescom 2012 kicks off with a trade and media-only day on August 15th. It will run until August 19th.
