Interactive game show WiFi Wars to host MCV Awards 2019

With less than two weeks to go until the 17th MCV Awards ceremony, we’re proud to unveil a very special host for this year’s event: interactive game show WiFi Wars.

WiFi Wars is an acclaimed live comedy game show where the entire audience can play along on their tablet or smartphone. The show is presented by comedian Steve McNeil (team captain and creator of TV’s Dara O Briain’s Go 8 Bit), who will also present the evening’s awards ceremony.

The other half of the WiFi Wars team is Rob Sedgbeer, who keeps a pretty challenging technical feat running smoothly, and with a potential 500 WiFi-connected players in the room on the night, we might just set some records too.

"We were absolutely delighted to be chosen to host this year’s awards,” said McNeil. “There are so many facets of the games industry which often go unrecognised, so to work with MCV in celebrating these important companies and individuals is a genuine honour."

So don’t miss out on what will be a fantastic night out for the industry, book your table now by contacting our sales manager Alex Boucher.
