Kickstarter UK launches this month

A launch date for Kickstarter UK has been set.

The service expands into the new region on October 31st, and users are allowed to start building their projects right now – though none can go live until the end of the month.

Kickstarter has provided a solid FAQ post on some of the differences in the details between the US and UK versions of the service. Seems like nothing major. Projects from both regions will be listed together, with currency and payment processing options being the notable changes.

Kickstarter revealed its intention to bring the crowdfunding platform to the UK earlier this year.
