Kojima Productions opens LA studio for unknown action game

Kojima Productions has opened up a studio in Los Angeles to work on an unannounced title.

A Gamasutra job listing in search of a gameplay programmer reveals that the title is a 3D action game, and that candidates should have experience with PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

The Metal Gear Solid franchise is mentioned, but only in noting that the studio had recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with publisher Konami.

As for the new studio, the LA addition was mentioned back in February by Konami and Kojima Productions as a tentative plan if the right pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
