Leipzig GCDC Project Director quits

The Project Director of Leipzig GCDC has quit the event’s organiser to take up the role of CEO at Global Games Media Ltd.

Frank Sliwka also acted in the same role for the Singapore-based Games Convention Asia Conference. The announcement of his replacement at Leipziger Messe is expected in the next few weeks.

Leipziger Messe has also appointed Silvana Krschner as strategy director of a newly created project section called Games Convention Global.

Krschner was previously responsible for marketing management at Leipziger Messe.

In other news, GC Global – the company tasked with expanding Games Convention across the world – has announced that it is planning on adding new sales and marketing staff in the near future.
