MICROSOFT: The Beatles kick off E3

In perhaps the highest-profile beginning to an E3 in history, Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have appeared on stage at Microsoft’s conference to endorse The Beatles: Rock Band.

The music legends told the crowd they thought the game was great” – as the platform holder announced that All You Need Is Love would be an exclusive download for Xbox 360.

The game is fantastic,” said McCartney. Whoever would have thought we’d have ended up as androids.”

Starr added: The game is great, the graphics are great, we were great…. I like the way I walk.”
